The girl said she wants to disappear for good. He realizes the girl's right side of her face is ravaged by a vial of acid thrown at her by a boy she rejected. When he sees the girl is stuck and can't get loose, he tries to distract her from the danger by telling her his story.ДЇorgetMeNot admits that he has been a member of the X-Men for six years at that point. He explains his powers to an intruder who is caught in the X-Men's defense system and admits it is hard to make her notice him at all. This mutant's first appearance came in the Simon Spurrier, Mike Carey, and Christos Gage penned X-Men Legacy #300 with a story titled 'ForgetMeNot.' The mysterious mutant no one can remember seeing shows up and announces he is an X-Man. Not to be confused with Forget-Me-Not from the pages of Runaways, this former X-Man is a mutant with the power of imperceptibility, which means when he is not in the direct view of a person, they immediately forget he exists. This is exactly the type of movie I love, with its understated presence and quiet pace it unfolds gently, and at the end I had to take a few moments to reflect and collect myself.In the history of the X-Men, there might not be a more forgettable mutant than ForgetMeNot. I was so moved and so captivated by it that I highly recommend it. ItвЂ™s a perfectly soothing movieВ that uses every aspect of a film to its fullest potential. It was funny too, and there was some existential philosophy thrown in as they discussed why the chicken really crossed the road.

There were touching moments, moments on passion. There are some revelations about the characters that took me by surprise. I was totally surprised I loved it as much as I did. ThereвЂ™s one scene in particular where they go to a silent disco (where everyone wears headphones and dances to their own music), and the use of music here, and throughout the film, is phenomenal. The soundtrack is incredible and while itвЂ™s not as intrinsic to the film as the music in OnceВ is, it still plays a big part. It is shot beautifully and every aspect of the film comes together to create this soothing, enthralling story. Often there are clichГ©d images used when films are set in London, and although there are famous landmarks shown it feels fresh, and this is a testament to the skill of the directors. The backdrop of London is used superbly and there are some beautiful shots.

Yet it doesnвЂ™t completely lose itself in romantic fantasy as the characters are both aware that really they donвЂ™t know each other despite spending the whole night walking and talking. The writing and performances are so good that it feels real, and you get the sense that these people are making a genuine connection, and that this is something that could genuinely happen. Will is a somewhat reserved person with a dark secret, and Eve is friendly and free-spirited. ItвЂ™s a simply story where the two characters get to know each other, and as they do we get to know them as well. In the inky blackness of night he escorts Eve to a party and the film follows the two of them as they walk through London, showing the journey of two strangers becoming intimate.ДЇorget Me NotВ is in the vein of OnceВ and Before Sunrise, two films that I absolutely adore. As they walk out a drunk customer attacks them and Will manages to deal with the situation. After a gig he meets Eve (OвЂ™Reilly), who works at the bar.
